Wrapping a handleless kitchen

Handleless kitchens can usually be wrapped, but the grip details need checking first. This is how KWrap handles them. For the full service, see kitchen wrapping.

J-pull doors

Doors with a shaped finger pull along the top edge have the film taken into and round the profile. These edges take the most handling, so they are heated and sealed with particular care.

Aluminium grip profiles

Many handleless kitchens use aluminium rails between the doors. These are usually left as they are, as a contrast, or wrapped separately to match. It is checked and agreed at the survey.

Push-to-open doors

Push-to-open doors are wrapped like any flat door. The film adds very little thickness, so the push catches keep working.

Matt finishes

Handleless kitchens are touched on the door faces more than handled kitchens, so soft-touch matt and textured finishes that hide fingerprints are a popular choice.

Questions

Can I add handles while the kitchen is wrapped?

Yes. New handles can be fitted at the same time, which is a common way to update a handleless kitchen.
